The GSPI at the Swiss Research and Innovation Summit (SRIS’26)

About the event
The Geneva Science-Policy Interface (GSPI) will participate in the first edition of the Swiss Research and Innovation Summit (SRIS’26) in Bern.
SRIS brings together key actors from research, innovation, policy, industry and civil society to discuss how science and innovation can contribute to addressing societal challenges and shaping Switzerland’s future. The event provides a platform for dialogue, exchange and collaboration across sectors.
During the summit, the GSPI will be present at the Marketplace of Ideas, where we will showcase insights and experiences from our Impact Collaboration Programme (ICP). The programme supported collaborations between researchers and international policy actors to develop science-informed solutions to global challenges.
Participants visiting the GSPI stand will have the opportunity to learn more about the programme, explore selected projects developed through the ICP, and discuss approaches to strengthening engagement at the science–policy interface.
The summit is organised by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and supported by the SCNAT – Swiss Academy of Sciences.
At the GSPI stand, participants can:
- Learn more about the Impact Collaboration Programme (ICP)
- Discover examples of collaborations between researchers and policy actors
- Exchange on approaches to strengthening the science–policy interface
