For researchers and fellows working and living away from global decision-making hubs, the ways to interact with policymakers can often seem diffuse and inaccessible.

We were invited by the Imperial College London and the University College London to hold in-person workshops with their respective researchers and staff on how to engage with the International Geneva ecosystem. After the workshops, participants from both institutions expressed their eagerness to create more links with UN's multilateral governance system in Geneva.

The workshops are part of our Learning at the Boundary (L@B) programme, consisting of a series of tailor-made learning and capacity-building activities for scientists, policy professionals and intermediaries willing to contribute to science-informed policymaking in practice.
